Longtime Gig Harbor resident Alinda Morris has always been inspired by her environment and knew from a young age that she wanted to be an interior designer. After working as a project manager for a design-build firm and spending years in construction management, Alinda, who completed the Interior Design Program at Bellevue College and is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, decided to create her own firm. In 2007 she started her company under the name Habitations Interior Design, rebranding it Alinda Morris Interior Design in 2014.
Alinda Morris Interior Design offers a concierge level of service from conception to completion. Alinda specializes in entire home renovation, new construction, whole room design, furnishing, and interior design. She begins with conceptual design development where she helps you explore possibilities, create a strong vision for your project, and utilize your space to reflect your own unique, individual style and personality. She supplies professional sketches and architectural renderings so that you can tangibly envision your options and make informed decisions about how to get the most return on your investment, stay within your budget, and make your home into your dream haven. Alinda is a strong believer that interior design can change the way you live within your space and her mission is to make that space beautifully reflect you in every way.
Alinda works with local artists and upholsterers, and mentors others within the design industry. She donates to local auctions and fundraisers and has undertaken two projects with the Pierce County YWCA. Alinda is actively involved with the community through social media, posting interior design tips and tricks, projects in progress, and a look behind the scenes.
