Peter Pan Jr. Play
Calling all Harbor Ridge middle schoolers!* Come join us for the upcoming Disney play, Peter Pan, Jr., sponsored by the Chelsea Paige Foundation in partnership with Students on Stage and the Tacoma Little Theatre. After the past two years, this is an exciting opportunity for students to participate in a hands-on group activity and a great way for them to learn about all that is involved in putting on a theater production. Even better, everyone can get in on the action! While students make up the cast, parents and other school volunteers are an invaluable asset in helping behind the scenes, and of course we always need family, friends, and members of the community out in the audience to cheer our students on.
*Priority will be given to HRMS students, but students from other middle schools are welcome to take any remaining registration slots.
WHAT
Students on Stage is an educational outreach program of the Tacoma Little Theatre. Their goal is to help students appreciate art and learn the techniques and discipline necessary for theater performance, as well as how they can apply these skills to succeed in their studies and other aspects of life. Throughout the five-week intensive students will receive an introduction to theater basics, learn their parts and choreography, have opportunities to work on problem areas, and run the entire show multiple times, adding in costumes and any special technical elements during the final week. While auditions will be held for specific roles in the play, every student registered will be given a part. Teaching and rehearsals will be conducted by traveling staff of the Tacoma Little Theatre. There is no cost to participate, but space is limited to 40 students, so register today!

I believe that making a lasting impact on the world begins by giving back to my community and supporting local charities. That is why I have a passion for organizations that support hands-on education and the women and children of Gig Harbor and the surrounding neighborhoods. I find it an honor to improve and strengthen the areas in which I live, work, and play by donating a portion of each my real estate transactions to a local charity or a favorite charity of my clients.
Thank you to all the parents and administrators who support arts in schools
Break a Leg babes,
Paige Schulte
