Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and whether you want to keep it simple or go all out, I’ve got you covered. Seeing it’s on a Tuesday this year, celebrate over the weekend, start the week off special, or do both! With ideas for restaurants, gifts, activities, and more, there are numerous ways to show your special someone—as well as our local businesses—just how much you love them.
Restaurants

Enjoy the Animarum ambiance with their four-course Valentine’s dinner, including an amuse-bouche, salad, entrée, and dessert. Reservations are available for dinner Thursday, February 9th through Tuesday, February 14th.

Browse their available workshops for making all things valentines! Click on the project you want to make and it will show workshop availability or DIY To-Go Kit options. They will also be offering a Valentine’s Day Mini Wood Workshop for the whole family and a Dine + DIY Date Night for couples, both on Saturday, February 11th.
Happening on Sunday, February 12th from 9:30am to 11:00am at Paper Luxe Gig Harbor, enjoy the morning with food and bubbly, a bouquet bar, and more! You’ll also have the chance to win a gift basket worth over $100.
Be transported to the romantic world of Italy this Valentine’s Day without going further than the harbor. Gig Harbor Gondola, the only such operation in the Pacific Northwest, offers 60- and 90-minute rides for up to six people. Choose from three appetizer options or bring your own food and bubbly.
