Treasures 4 Humanity

Let Gig Harbor’s top real estate agent, Paige Schulte, walk you through town and introduce you to the small business owners of Gig Harbor. Gig Harbor boasts a vibrant downtown scene lined with local business owners along with delicious eats from Uptown to Downtown Gig Harbor. Read on to hear about how Treasures 4 Humanity got started here in the harbor.

Diane Miller, a philanthropist with an eye for fashion, started Treasures 4 Humanity online in 2016 seeking to give back to her community and those in need through her retail clothing boutique. Following its internet success, Treasures 4 Humanity’s first brick and mortar store opened on March 30, 2019.

The boutique carries internationally designed and locally made purses and jewelry, spa luxuries like organic creams from Hawaii, and high-quality clothes that are fun, classic, and on-trend. Every piece in the store is intentionally hand-picked and purposefully sourced from small or local businesses. Many of the articles are handmade and have a story and meaning behind them, like the DIFF charitable eyewear that Treasures 4 Humanity carries. DIFF donates a pair of reading glasses for every pair of sunglasses they sell. You will be treated to attentive customer service as you take part in Miller’s altruistic culture that aspires to make the community and world a better place.

Treasures 4 Humanity, which allows you to do good while looking good, donates 10% of their net profit to three foundations: Strong Against Cancer—a national philanthropic initiative dedicated to curing childhood cancers without prolonged chemotherapy and radiation, JDRF—a nonprofit that funds type 1 diabetes research and advocates for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and Polaris Project—a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that works to combat and prevent modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Treasures 4 Humanity also sponsors the monthly outfits of Washington’s Miss America Outstanding Teen, as well as contributing to dance teams, local school fundraisers, and local sports teams.
