The couple opened their Fox Island Trading Company store in 2020.
The Hensons’ team at Fox Island Trading Company includes herbalists, skincare ingredient experts, and homeopathic specialists who work together as a family to create truly handmade, earth-friendly skin products with intention and joy. Their inventory includes lotion bars, lip balms, deodorant, facial scrubs, therapeutic soap, bath salts, shower steamers, essential oil candles, hair care, pain management topicals, and more. Fox Island Trading Company also carries specialized skin products and bath items for babies, an entire men’s line that includes shaving and beard care necessities, and products for those with skin issues like eczema and psoriasis. Fox Island Trading Company prides itself on its regionally sourced ingredients that are safe and gentle as well as nourishing and therapeutic. They grow and distill many of their own ingredients and use natural raw honey and beeswax from their own apiary.
The Fox Island Trading Company family is involved in the community in multiple ways. They create gift baskets for numerous fundraisers; take part in local farmers markets; work with local spas, aestheticians, and massage therapists; and support the fair trade community.
