I’ve compiled a list of the best fireworks shows in the south Sound so you can celebrate the 4th with family, friends, and fireworks. Remember to arrive early in order to snag the best viewing, and be safe!

FIREWORKS SHOWS
Fox Island
When: Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 10pm
Where: Fox Island Yacht Club, 1061 12th Avenue, Fox Island, WA 98333
Starting at 7pm on July 3rd the yacht club will be hosting a picnic and fireworks for its members. If you’re not a member and can’t join the festivities at the club, you might still be able to see the fireworks from various points across Hale Passage or Carr Inlet.
Lacey
When: Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 10pm
Where: Rainier Vista Community Park, 5475 45th Avenue SE, Lacey, WA 98503
Celebrate a day early at the Lacey Fireworks Spectacular on July 3rd. The musical fireworks show starts at 10pm, but the fun begins at 4pm with food, live music, and a kids’ zone. If you want an enhanced light show experience, Lacey Collision Center will be providing free 3D glasses, while supplies last. Point Ruston
When: Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10pm
Where: Cummings Park, 3939 Ruston Way, Tacoma, WA 98402 & Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park, 5361 Yacht Club Road, Tacoma, WA 98405
Tacoma’s 4th of July Summer Blast is back, offering two locations to enjoy all the festivities of food trucks, beer gardens, live music and entertainment, and over 200 craft vendors. Cummings Park will also offer free kids’ activities as part of their Family Zone. The holiday’s finale will begin at 10:00pm with a fireworks show over Commencement Bay, which will be visible from all of the Ruston Way waterfront. Port Orchard
When: Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10pm
Where: Port Orchard Waterfront Park, 933 Bay Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366
During the Fathoms O’ Fun Festival, fireworks will be going off over the Sinclair Inlet. Head downtown and set up some chairs along the waterfront to enjoy the show. Fireworks can also be seen across the bay from the Bremerton waterfront. Arrive early to take part in some of the other activities, including food and craft vendors, balloon twisting, and live music. Kingston
When: Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10:10pm
Where: Mike Wallace Park, Washington Boulevard, Kingston, WA 98346
Fireworks will begin a little after 10pm as the culmination to this year’s Stars, Stripes & Smiles 4th of July celebration. Festivities start at 8am that morning with a pancake breakfast, followed by bouncy houses for the kids, a parade, model sailboat building, live music, and more. Federal Way
When: Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10:15pm
Where: Celebration Park, 1095 S 324th Street, Federal Way, WA 98003
What better place to enjoy Federal Way’s Red, White & Blues Festival than at Celebration Park! Starting at 4pm there will be music, entertainment, food vendors, sports, family games, face painting, and more. Stay until the end for their fireworks show at 10:15pm.
