Welcome To Harbor Hill
I’m Paige with AskPaigeSchulte.com here to tell you about Harbor Hill, one of our favorite–and one of the most sought-after–neighborhoods. They do have smaller backyards, the houses are a little bit tighter and closer together, but they’re sprinkled in with parks and trails.
CONVENIENT LIVING
Harbor Hill is five minutes to downtown, two minutes to the highway. You’re right here with Costco, Target, Home Depot, Petco, Albertsons, Target, the YMCA. It’s walking distance to Swift Water, the new elementary school.
There are walking trails, and the Cushman Trail is right there also—that’ll take you all the way to uptown Gig Harbor. So it’s bikeable and walkable.
It’s also a really popular community for downsizers if you can find a primary suite on the main floor or even a bedroom on the main for generational living. You also have smaller backyards to maintain. If you find a really good open backyard with western exposure, that is a crème de la crème of Harbor Hill.
NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFICS
These houses were built between 2012 and 2023. You’ll see more modern open floor plans, and that’s what helps with larger living for all your people. The price range is from about $700,000 all the way up to $1.4 million. Harbor Hill south has two-car garages and Harbor Hill north has three-car garages, so some subtle differences between them. Harbor Hill north gets a little bit more money for theirs.
The unique qualities about these houses are where they sit in the neighborhood. On one side of the street you have western exposure and you back up to the park, which is amazing, because you have no house behind you. So it’s all about how your house orients with the other houses because there are tight lot lines.
Covered outdoor living in the northwest is also really amazing, so any house that has really good heaters or a fireplace is great. If you don’t have one, you’ll want to look at the competition when you go to sell—there’s always another house just like yours coming on the market. Corner lots go for more money, a third-car garage goes for more money, and a flexible floor plan with a bedroom and a full bath on the main, which allows for generational living like we talked about and can also transition to an office, is nice.
