Docks for Day Trips

Gig Harbor and Tacoma provide lots of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks while enjoying a day out on the water.

Gig Harbor

There are two public docks that offer free short-term moorage. They are both in the south end of the harbor so if your destination is further north you will have a little bit of a trek, but everything at the waterfront is still within reasonable walking distance.

Eddon Boat Park - Dock your boat for up to 2 hours.

Jerisich Dock - Free moorage during the day (moorage fees apply if you connect to power or water on the dock or stay overnight between 8pm and 8am).

Options for dining and drinks:

Point Defiance Marina - With additional mooring available at the public boat launch, there are a couple nearby restaurants and several others accessible by foot if you’re up for a little bit of a walk.
